The Alto Club Golf & Academy

The Alto Club sits at the top of the Sotogrande hillside, next to Los Alcornocales Natural Park, one of the largest cork oak forests in Europe. Golf, wellbeing and hospitality come together here in perfect harmony.

The 18-hole course was originally designed by Dave Thomas and later refined by local golf legend Manuel Piñero. It is a layout that rewards precision and creativity: you will need to place the ball well and think your way around rather than simply overpower it.

The Alto Club is also one of the best places in the area to work on your game. The academy has a driving range with Toptracer and Trackman technology, a par-3 hole, a Pitch & Putt course, putting and chipping greens and an approach area, with lessons and clinics for every level.

With an on-site hotel, gym, pool and restaurant, it is an ideal base for a golf break in Sotogrande. Club and buggy hire, trolleys, a pro shop and changing rooms complete the services.
