The Villamayor course is eminently urban, located just 10 minutes from the centre of Salamanca, in the exclusive Vega de Salamanca development.
The course was designed by Juan Catarineu in 1999 and runs for 6,475 metres between the buildings of the residential complex, making it one of the ten courses with the highest slope rating in Spain.
It has magnificent facilities for playing golf, such as a driving range, approach area, chipping green and putting green.
The first part of the course is of a purely English design, with two lakes that come into play on several of its holes; the second nine holes are of a clearly American design, with a more abrupt and demanding orography for the player.
