The course was designed by the late Folco Nardi to make it technical, but not difficult. Good concentration and the right choice of club to play with will lead to a good score in any of the fifty or so golf competitions that take place every year at Lauro.

The extension of holes 19 to 27, designed by Mariano Benítez, has followed this same trend of a course that requires concentration and skill, completing the entire course. The course can be played on foot due to its moderately flat nature, although there are two holes located in the foothills of the mountain which offer an exceptional view over the Guadalhorce valley and the Mediterranean.

Environment

Nestled in a special natural environment, Lauro Golf Resort was born, which currently has 27 holes, which can be combined nine by nine, all par 72. From the beginning the design of the complex is based on respect for the environment and the nature that surrounds us, not only safeguarding the life of each and every one of the pre-existing century-old holm oaks, but also with the planting of thousands of young trees, most of them native to Andalucia.
