Designer: Ramón Espinosa

The golf course was designed in 1990 by the prestigious architect Ramón Espinosa. In 1992 it was awarded the prize for the best golf course in Europe.

It is currently considered one of the best courses on the Costa Brava.

Its strong environmental, social and sustainability commitment is reflected in its actions, making it the 3rd golf course in Catalonia and the 6th golf course in Spain to obtain Geo Certification, a benchmark for sustainability in the world of golf.

Environment

Golf d'Aro is located in an exclusive enclave.

On one side, the picture-postcard beaches of Platja d'Aro, Sa Conca, S'Agaró, Palamós and Sant Feliu de Guíxols. Charming corners that make up one of the most beautiful and emblematic landscapes of the Mediterranean.

And, on the other side, the Gavarres Natural Park. Club Golf d'Aro offers a truly unique experience and total disconnection for golfers, just 15 minutes from the sea.

The course is delimited by unique mountain cliffs that fall towards the natural environment.
