It is the only golf course designed by José Mª Olazábal in Madrid. The 18-hole par 72 course is versatile and fun for the medium handicap player as well as for the technical and demanding player. The design of the course has integrated the design of the holes into the existing broken terrain to define a links-type design that is both sportingly and aesthetically spectacular.

One of the main virtues of Retamares is its excellent state of maintenance throughout the year. As a result of significant investment in a new maintenance area, a weather station, modern machinery and a highly qualified staff, the Club is committed to keeping greens, fairways and tees impeccable any day of the year. Considered as one of the essential golf courses in the Community of Madrid, it has hosted up to five top level international competitions: three editions of the Madrid Ladies Masters of the LET (2007, 2008 and 2009) and two editions of the men's Challenge Tour, the Mahou Open in 2007 and the Reale Challenge of Spain in 2009.

We have exceptional hospitality facilities, with more than 3,000 m2 of event rooms and a boutique hotel with 28 premium rooms.

Environment

Northwest of Madrid, 25 minutes from the capital. The property is located on an elevated position with excellent views over the valley and the mountains of Madrid, offering spectacular sunsets.

The environment is quiet as it is countryside, there are no houses near the field.
