The origins of the Real Club de Golf El Prat date back to 1912, consolidating it as one of the oldest clubs in Spain and boasting the Royal badge awarded by King Alfonso XIII.

With the honour of having hosted the Spanish Open on 10 occasions, this club has witnessed the talent of outstanding golfers, including Severiano Ballesteros, José María Olazábal, Tom Watson (eight-time Major champion) and Thomas Bjørn, captain of the European Ryder Cup team.

Located on the Bonvilar estate in Terrassa, just 35 minutes from the centre of Barcelona, the Real Club de Golf El Prat stands out for its 45 holes designed by Greg Norman, which are distributed over three exciting and highly praised courses: the Pink, recognised as the fourth best golf course in Spain according to Golf Digest magazine; the Yellow and the Green.

In addition, being located in the ecological corridor between the Sant Llorenç de Munt massif and the Serra de Collserola mountain range, this course was created following a strict Special Plan and a rigorous Environmental Impact Study.

The main premise was to improve the landscape from an ecological perspective, guaranteeing a landscape renovation without affecting the native fauna. This environmental commitment has earned it Biosphere certification on three occasions. The perfect combination between the majesty of nature and the excellence of golf, a fact that has positioned Real Club de Golf El Prat among the top of the world ranking, enjoying great recognition among golf lovers.
